Philadelphia-based rapper Francis Leblanc (aka Fridayy) ties his religious background into his music. His father was a pastor who regularly involved Leblanc in the church band, and by age six he had learned to play piano, bass, and guitar. Some early tracks were released in 2014, but it wasn't until signing to Def Jam in the early 2020s that his music started to take off.
